Systems Administrator

RESULTS Technology is looking for a Systems Administrator to provide technical IT support to users in a time-efficient and accurate manner. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and be passionate about technology and helping people. As a Systems Administrator, you will be the customer’s first contact when calling in with an issue. You must be capable of collecting information through customer conversation and solving basic to advanced computer problems like password resets, advanced troubleshooting, and installing software.

This is a full-time, salary position that pays $35-$50,000/year. RESULTS Technology offers health, dental, vision and supplemental insurance, 401K, PTO, and pre-tax flexible spending accounts. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities of a Systems Administrator:

  • Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
  • Walk customers through the problem-solving process.
  • Track, route, and properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support as needed.
  • Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed by supervisor.

Required Experience/Skills:

You must have an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science (or equivalent) and excellent customer service skills to perform this job successfully. Other important skills include:

  • One year experience in providing help desk support.
  • Strong documentation skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must want to be part of a team.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Have a valid driver’s license and able to lift and carry basic computer equipment.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Prior experience working for a Managed Services Provider
  • Desktops/Laptop Hardware experience
  • Computer Peripherals (Sound, Monitors, Mouse, etc.)
  • Current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Current Apple Computer Operating Systems
  • Encryption Software
  • Microsoft Office
  • Banking Software HUGE plus
  • LAN/WAN/Firewall
  • Email/Exchange
  • Virus Scans and Removal
  • VPN
  • Active Directory

Our Location:

This is a full-time 100% remote position. You will work from your home but may need to occasionally visit our client’s offices so you must live in the KC metro area.
