IT Service Desk Technician

The Position

Service Desk Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
  • Walk customers through the problem-solving process.
  • Track, route, and properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback, and see problems through to resolution.
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support as needed
  • Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed by the supervisor
Service Desk Requirements
  • 1 year of working experience in providing help desk support is a plus but not required
  • Ability to lift and carry basic computer equipment
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must want to be part of a Team
  • Must be reliable
  • Proficiency in English
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Strong documentation skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent

Prior experience working for a Managed Services Provider or working in the bank
industry is a huge plus!

Pay and Benefits

This is a full-time, hourly position that pays between $18 – $22 per hour depending on experience. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. You will work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. We take turns being “on-call” on evenings and weekends so you may occasionally be required to work outside normal business hours. We are closed on all national holidays.
