RESULTS METHODOLOGY

Results Technology is working to meet the challenges of a dynamic IT marketplace that requires IT solution providers to address the diverse needs of customers’ business environments. In order to carry out this strategy Results Technology has established its six-step methodology.

The six-step methodology reflects the cyclic nature of business and suggests our continuing involvement with our customers, versus a “sell hardware and move on” approach. The cycle enables us to uncover our customers’ needs in order to help them recognize problem areas, while seeking to understand their business, and only then design the optimum secure and efficient solution. Results Technology’s team of professionals will test it to ensure functionality, implement it using solid project management skills, then support/maintain and renew it to ensure it stays secure and efficient. We’ll also work with our customers as part of the cycle to ensure their resources are refreshed and offer them solutions to remove assets at the end of their life-cycle.

Discover: In the Discover stage, we will work to look deep into the customer’s existing network to understand what is there, how it is configured and where weaknesses and/or strengths reside. Results Technology Engineers utilize state-of-the-art tools and programs to conduct discovery and document the client’s existing enterprise computer network.

Design: For Larger Companies or companies with extraordinary needs, Results Technology’s senior consulting engineering team will create a customized design solution, specifically engineered to meet the client’s current and future needs. Customized design solutions forego a template approach to provide greater scalability, integration and customized configuration to meet the larger client’s needs. Results Technology’s design efforts address security and efficiency from the back of the workstation computer to every point in the local area network, wide area network and to and from the internet.

Build/ Test: Results Technology maintains a test environment in a secure setting to enable engineers to pre-configure and test new devices and configurations at our location. This commitment to testing and training provides the strong design and ease of implementation. Once critical components have been received, they are assembled, tested and hardened following thorough and complete, documented procedures. Initial documentation on the devices is prepared and accompanies the device through check-in at the client location.

Implementation: Engineers review each component of a new installation or configuration change first at the Results Technology test laboratory and then at the client location. As the components are racked or installed, further testing continues with escalation plans for communication and contingency plans if the unexpected occurs during cutover. Installation and Support Engineers continue their engagement on-site through staged client testing and “day two” support.

Support/Maintain: It is our position that clients who have Results Technology engineers on-site on a regular basis experience fewer network issues than ones who don’t. To facilitate this engagement, Results Technology can offer a Support Contract to ensure your systems stay operating at peak efficiency. Results Technology’s professionally trained and certified engineers come on-site to the customer’s locations monthly or bi-monthly to perform standard maintenance, to run diagnostic routines, to check change control processes and to copy recovery tables and relevant logs. Any issues or concerns are noted and discussed with the key members of the customer’s I.T. or management team to determine remediation if required. In the event an equipment failure occurs, Results Technology includes manufacturer’s on-site replacement service in each design proposal, so the customer is covered. We complete any required proof of failure documentation with the manufacturer, coordinate the repair/replacement and employ our engineers to reinstall our most recent copy of configuration data to the device to truly get them back in operation as soon as possible. Results Technology engineers can be made available 24x7x365 to support scheduled maintenance and handle emergency response needs.

Renew: Results Technology believes that our client’s network infrastructure is an investment, not an expense, but an investment that can yield a positive return on investment (ROI) through performance improvement and risk reduction. Because of this, we maintain a philosophy of continual renewal of the network architecture against an enterprise level core infrastructure plan, rather than infrequent, expensive and painful major upgrades. We’ll also work with you to ensure your manufacturer’s maintenance contracts are kept in force, and assist you with software licensing renewals.
